The maker of the AquaProve water filter is announcing a new line of water purifiers, one that could replace its own products as a clean water purifier for home and business customers.
Cabelas announced today that it will begin selling the AquaPros in stores, with more to come in the future.
AquaProvs are water purifying devices designed to purify water to a specific pH level using an ultraviolet light, a process that converts the water to fresh drinking water.
Citing a need for a new water purifiying device, Cabela announced that the Aqua Prove will be its first water puriflage device.
“The Aqua Proves are our newest, freshest, and most environmentally friendly water purifyrs,” Cabelo CEO Joe DiFilippo said in a statement.
“The Aqua Pros are our latest innovation to solve the water puriification challenge.
They are perfect for home, office, and community use.”
Cabela also said it will release more AquaPros products in the near future.
The company already offers a wide range of water filters for home use.
Cablevision, which owns Cablevision, has been working to market its own Aqua Pro devices since at least 2018.
The cable provider announced a new product in 2018 called Aqua Plus that can purify 10,000 gallons of water in 10 minutes.
The Aqua Plus device was made by the company’s AquaPro subsidiary and sold in the U.S. at retail outlets such as Walmart and Target.
