A team of scientists have developed a water purifying system that could make a significant difference in water quality in the UK.
The team of experts working on the project, from the University of Exeter and University College London, says the system can be used to clean up polluted rivers and streams in cities.
The researchers say the system is based on the idea of a ‘water purifier’ that is used to remove pollutants and contaminants from water.
In the future, it is hoped that the system could be used in other cities around the UK to help reduce the amount of water pollution that comes from the sewage system and the city water supply.
The project was supported by the British Council and the British Water Agency.
